THE WORK
Five things.
Each one distinct.
Five nature-based leadership walkshops and experiences, each one tailored to help teams work better - which turns out to be the thing that makes almost everything else possible.
SERVICE 01
Leadership Round the Table.
Nature as teacher. Table Mountain as classroom.
Table Mountain doesn't do silos.
In the fynbos that blankets its slopes, every species participates in networks of exchange so sophisticated they make most organisational structures look, frankly, amateur. None of it was designed. It evolved, over millions of years, into something that works.
Leadership Round the Table takes executive teams into this living system to ask a simple question: what would your team look like if it worked like this?
It is a six-part walkshop series. Each session is set on the slopes of Table Mountain and dedicated to one of the defining challenges of working well together at the top of an organisation:
THE SIX C's
Collaboration · Constructive Conflict · Communication · Collective Awareness · Cohesive Alignment · Creative Innovation
Six sessions. Six C's. We totally planned that.
Each walkshop is customised to your team's specific dynamics before you arrive. Sessions run from three hours to a full day, on the Mountain or adapted to other settings when needed. The series can be taken as a complete programme or as individual sessions. Both work. The cumulative effect of all six is something else entirely.
"This was such a meaningful starting point for fostering collaboration within our team. What stood out most was how seamlessly personal introspection was combined with team collaboration — which made the experience both engaging and impactful. It felt like a safe space to be open and honest, and that set the tone for stronger connections within the group."

SERVICE 02
Wild Challenges.
Where your hardest problems meet their match.
The thinking that created a challenge is rarely the thinking that solves it. Wild Challenges is built on that premise - and on the idea that nature is a surprisingly rigorous thinking partner.
We take leadership and innovation teams out of the room and onto the mountain to do serious problem-solving work. Not a brainstorm. Not a workshop with a view. A structured process that uses the landscape itself to strip out noise, surface what actually matters, and find solutions that are genuinely new.
Wild Challenges comes in two formats. A Trail is a single intensive day - diverge and converge on the challenge in the morning, diverge and converge on solutions in the afternoon. You arrive with your problem and leave with direction. A Trek extends the work across two days for deeper investigation and harder-won answers. Both follow a structured process. Neither feels like one.
SERVICE 03
Immersions.
Your values, brought to life.
Most organisations have values on a wall. Few have values in their bones. Immersions exist for the gap between those two things.
These are bespoke nature-based experiences designed around your specific context - your culture, your behaviours, your characters, your moment. Not problem-solving and not a structured programme. Something closer to embodiment. Participants encounter the organisation's values as living, breathing things rather than words to be memorised and forgotten.
Every Immersion is built from scratch around what your organisation actually needs. The mountain provides the conditions. We design the experience that meets them.
SERVICE 04
Talky Walky.
One leader. One walk. No agenda but yours.
The best coaching conversations rarely happen sitting down. Something about moving through landscape - the rhythm of it, the peripheral vision, the way the path keeps going regardless - loosens things that a chair and a table keep fixed.
Talky Walky is individual leadership coaching conducted on a walk. One-to-one, structured around your specific context, with the landscape functioning as both metaphor and honest mirror. We might talk about your team, your authority, a decision you can't quite make, or something you haven't named yet. The mountain has a way of making the important things harder to avoid.
Available as a single session or an ongoing coaching relationship. Serious work. Comfortable shoes recommended.
SERVICE 05
Forest Therapy.
The mountain asks nothing of you. That's the point.
Every other Earthmark offering has an outcome - a direction found, a team aligned, a problem solved. Forest Therapy has a different agenda. Or rather, no agenda at all.
Guided by a certified Forest Therapy practitioner, these walks move slowly and deliberately through living landscape. A series of invitations - to notice, to sense, to simply be present - opens a quality of attention that most of us have forgotten we're capable of. The science is solid: time in nature lowers cortisol, sharpens cognition, restores the capacity for deep thought. The experience is something the science doesn't quite capture.
Available for individuals or small groups, as a standalone experience or woven into a larger Earthmark programme. No previous experience of nature, therapy, or forests required.
